The Monterey County Board of Supervisors has placed Measure C [Butterfly Village] on their Tuesday agenda in order to consider removing it from the June 6th ballot pursuant to a judgment rendered this week to overturn our Community General Plan Initiative.
As you may remember we gathered 15,000 signatures to overturn the Board’s approval of Butterfly Village and the voters overturned their decision to place the larger Rancho San Juan on the November ballot [that too was Measure C]. That too required 15,000 signatures to challenge their approval of that monstrosity of a project.
Today, go to the Monterey County Herald’s website and vote NO on the Question Of The Day: “Should the Board of Supervisors remove Measure C from the June ballot?”
