Rancho San Juan – Water Use Disaster!

Consider the Facts:

Water Overdraft – Rancho San Juan will over-pump the area aquifers by 463 acre-feet per year

Water Overdraft increases Concentrations of Ground Water Contaminants and accelerates Seawater Intrusion

Water Overdraft, which the County chooses to ignore, will allow Rancho San Juan's Phase I  which includes 1070 homes--most of which are estate and luxury homes--a hotel and a golf course.  Now, aren't there better uses for scarce water than another up-scale golf community in Monterey County?
