Upcoming Meetings on the General Plan Update The meetings listed below will give local residents what will probably be their "last chance" to have input on the General Plan Update, before the County staff actually starts writing the new General Plan. Of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for input after the draft plan has been written, when it is released for official comment, but the importance of these upcoming meetings cannot be overstated. LandWatch urges its members and supporters to attend one or more of the meetings listed below, and to urge Monterey County to base their General Plan Update on the "Five Principles" of sound land use policy advocated by LandWatch.
