El estado del condado de Monterey 1998
Miguel Errea Response to the State of Monterey County Report

Thank you for the opportunity to review your report. Unfortunately you began with the basic premise that a total moratorium on all development in Monterey County is necessary and then set out to prove that.

A total ban on all development is never a valid approach. It does not meet the needs of families when children plan to remain here to work and live.

It also does not meet the needs of those who plan to live here after they retire having worked in Monterey County their entire lives. It is reckless development that is a problem -- not all development.

Read my campaign statement and flyers for insight in to my views on land use and water.
